We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter who will be based at our Ipswich workshop and travel to and work on our client's site ensuring quality and productivity objectives are met.
You will be key in supporting our overall site objectives.Key responsibilitiesInstall and assemble structural, mechanical, and piping components per engineering drawings and specificationsConduct testing (e.g., pressure testing, alignment checks) to ensure system integrity and functionalityAdhering to safety protocols, risk assessments, and permit systems to ensure a safe, compliant work environmentFlange managementFault finding and troubleshooting across plant systemsAbout youMechanical fitting trade qualifiedManual licenseConstruction white cardFlexibility to work away for periods and work overtimeWorking rights within AustraliaSafety-focused with a solid work ethic and a willingness to learn
