CloudMarc is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer with strong BigQuery, Python and data testing experience to join a major enterprise program in Melbourne.

This is a hands‐on Quality Engineering role focused on validating complex data solutions, building automated testing capability and ensuring data quality across large‐scale platforms.

nThe Role n
nYou'll be responsible for: n
n
n
n
Testing complex data pipelines, transformations and integrations.
n
n
Performing data validation and reconciliation using BigQuery.
n
n
Developing automated data testing solutions using Python.
n
n
Writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation.
n
n
Testing data across source, transformation and target layers.
n
n
Validating data accuracy, completeness, integrity and quality.
n
n
Building reusable automated test scripts and frameworks.
n
n
Performing functional, integration, regression and end-to-end data testing.
n
n
Identifying data quality issues and investigating root causes.
n
n
Working closely with Data Engineers, Developers, BAs and delivery teams.
n
n
Supporting automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
n

nWhat We're Looking For n
n
n
n
Strong experience as a Senior Quality Engineer / Data Test Engineer / Senior Test Automation Engineer.
n
n
Strong hands‐on Google BigQuery experience – essential.
n
n
Advanced SQL and data validation skills.
n
n
Strong experience testing complex data pipelines and transformations.
n
n
Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration testing.
n
n
Strong understanding of data quality and reconciliation.
n
n
Experience working with cloud‐based data platforms.
n
n
CI/CD and Agile delivery experience.
n
n
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
n
