As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for a range of various Accounts Receivable related duties including:Perform AR related duties in accordance with the cyclical calendar for processingSetup of complete and accurate debtor recordsProvision of accurate accounts receivable data when requestedEnsure resident and clients fees and charges information is accurately updated in a timely mannerEnsure resident and clients fees and charges are reconciled and variances are investigated and resolvedUndertake accurate and timely resident and client billing and refundsEnsure fees and charges are in accordance with contractual,
policy and legislative guidelinesRegularly monitor the completeness and accuracy of all records and master files, as they relate to ARRespond to enquiries from residents and clients, and facility/managers and staff in a timely mannerMonitor relevant changes to Aged Care legislation and relevant Retirement Villages legislation and implement any necessary changes to proceduresAbout you:You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.This is the place for you if you:Experience in the health or aged care sector preferredExperience in accounts receivable, debt collection and general finance administrationExperience and expertise in timely and accurate accounting service deliveryExperience in accounting packagesExpertise in a range of accounting tasks particularly accounts receivableExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a diverse range of people, including older people or those who have disabilitiesIntermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skillsExcellent customer service skills with ability to communicate with all levels of usersThrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactionsAre committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BESTway of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)Essentials for working in Aged Care:A current Working With Children Check cardCurrent and ongoing flu and COVID-19 VaccinationsAbility to pass a national police clearance and NDIS ClearanceAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply for this role.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
