VICAbout the roleYour responsibilities will include:Managing and supporting a portfolio of apprentices across multiple host employersConducting regular workplace and site visits with apprentices and supervisorsMentoring apprentices and supporting their development throughout their apprenticeshipBuilding solid, professional relationships with existing host employersWorking with host employers to identify workforce requirements and placement opportunitiesMonitoring apprentice performance, attendance, conduct and workplace progressSupporting apprentices through workplace challenges and proactively addressing issues before they escalatedCoordinating apprentice placements, transfers, returns and host movementsMonitoring trade school attendance, training progress, profiling and apprenticeship milestonesWorking closely with RTOs, employers and other stakeholders to keep apprentices progressing toward completionMaintaining accurate records and ensuring GTO compliance requirements are metSupporting workplace health and safety requirements and escalating concerns where requiredWorking collaboratively with our recruitment, administration, payroll and operational teamsContributing to the continued growth and development of Frontline's apprenticeship and GTO operationsAbout youWe're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and can build credibility with everyone from a first‐year apprentice through to site supervisors,



project managers and business owners.You will ideally have:Experience within apprenticeships, Group Training, recruitment, workforce management, employment services or a similar field‐based roleStrong relationship management and communication skillsThe ability to mentor, coach and support young people in the workplaceConfidence dealing with employers and resolving workplace issuesStrong organisation and time‐management skillsThe ability to manage a busy portfolio and competing prioritiesA practical, solutions‐focused approachStrong attention to compliance, documentation and follow‐upThe ability to work autonomously while remaining part of a broader operational teamA current driver's licence and willingness to travel to host employer sites across Melbourne and surrounding areasPrevious GTO, apprenticeship or vocational education experience will be highly regarded, but equally important is your ability to build relationships, take ownership and provide a high level of support to both apprentices and clients.Why join Frontline?
