Our team works collaboratively with participants, families, clinical professionals and allied health providers to deliver safe, respectful and professional support within the home and communityAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing Gold Coast team.This position is suited to reliable, compassionate and experienced support workers who are confident providing personal care, community access and disability support across a variety of shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care and assistance with activities of daily livingSupport community access, appointments and social activitiesAssist with mobility, transfers and manual handling where requiredSupport participants with mealtime routinesProvide medication assistance within scope and competencySupport household and daily living activitiesMonitor and report changes in participant health, wellbeing or support needsComplete accurate progress notes and required documentationFollow individual care plans, risk assessments and support proceduresMaintain professional boundaries and participant confidentialityWork collaboratively with participants, families and the wider Angelic Care teamMinimum 2 years' experience within disability,



community or complex careDemonstrated experience providing personal careExperience supporting participants within their homes and the communityAvailability to work weekends, active nights and sleepoversMedication assistance competencyCurrent Blue Card / Working with Children Check where requiredCurrent First Aid and CPRValid Australian Driver LicenceReliable, insured vehicleStrong written communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a professional care teamHighly DesirableExperience supporting people with spinal cord injury or acquired/traumatic brain injuryHoist and transfer experienceHigh-intensity disability support experienceExperience working within 2:1 /ILO/SIL support environmentsAdditional disability, community services or healthcare qualificationsWhy Work With Angelic Care?
