We celebrate each other's wins and hold ourselves to a high standard because we actually care about the result.The roleBased at the warehouse centre, the Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator is the point of contact for customers, retail stores and carriers, and works closely with the Warehouse Manager to make sure deliveries run on time and everyone is kept informed.What you'll doBook all last-mile deliveries directly with customers and manage the delivery diary, confirmations, reminders,



reschedules and cancellationsAnswer incoming calls to the distribution centre and make outgoing calls to customers for confirmations, delivery times, changes and follow-upCheck delivery readiness before booking, special requirements, access restrictions, and that the order is released and approved for deliveryAllocate delivery jobs to the right carrier according to capability, service area and vehicle capacity, and sort out day-to-day scheduling problemsMonitor deliveries against agreed carrier service standards and follow up outstanding proof of deliveryCoordinate customer returns, exchanges and reverse logistics bookingsAct as the distribution centre's contact for retail stores on stock, delivery timing and order statusInvestigate failed deliveries and carrier incidents, and escalation issues that can't be resolved at Coordinator levelWho you areExperience in transport, logistics, distribution or delivery schedulingExperience dealing directly with customers by phone, including difficult callsStrong administration skills and good attention to detailAble to manage a diary and prioritise while the phone is busyGood problem solving and sound judgementConfident using CRM, warehouse and scheduling systems, and competent in ExcelFurniture or bulky goods experience, and experience with third-party carriers and last-mile delivery, is an advantageWhat's in it for youMonday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm working hoursCompetitive salaryFull-time, permanent positionA team that works closely together and keeps each other informed
