Assistance with postgraduate studies and access to the Employee Assistance Program.Supportive Team: Join a motivated, collaborative team that values mentorship, excellence, and teamwork.Position ResponsibilitiesPreparation of SMSF Financial StatementsCompletion of SMSF Annual ReturnsPreparation of Tax ReconciliationsReconciliations of investment balances and investment returnsCalculation of pension liabilitiesBAS & IAS Statements as requiredPreparation of electronic workpapersPreparation of audit package and liaising with external auditorsPreparation of Trustee documentationEnsuring work completion satisfying budget and time constraintsLiaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASICWork with the Client Director and team to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe allocatedPreparation of correspondence to clients and other bodies as requiredOther tasks as requiredAbout youExperience in a chartered accounting practice, with exposure to SMSF or a solid interest in developing SMSF expertiseStrong attention to detail with good organisational and time management abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communicationDegree qualified, CA completed or near completionExperience with or accounting software such as MYOB and Excel; exposure to Class Super and HowNow is a bonusProactive, self-motivated, and client-focusedEager to learn, develop, and take on increasing responsibility over time
