Billing & Invoicing Administrator

We're seeking a detail-focused Billing & Invoicing Administrator to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reconciliation, and timely delivery of client billing.
This role sits between administration and finance — ideal for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys working with financial data, systems and processes, and wants to build expertise in billing and invoicing, without it being a traditional finance role.
You'll do well in this position if you enjoy working across multiple systems, managing competing priorities, and taking ownership of billing accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end client invoicing, ensuring all charges are accurate and completePrepare monthly and consolidated invoices to strict deadlinesReconcile supplier invoices and expenses (including AMEX) against internal systemsReview and process incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct approvalsInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies, variances, and client queriesMaintain high data integrity across billing and financial systemsAssist with debtor reconciliation and outstanding itemsLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure billing accuracy and consistencyManage a busy, varied workload across multiple processes and systems
About You
Highly detail-oriented, with a solid focus on accuracyExperience in billing, invoicing, accounts administration or accounts supportComfortable working with numbers, financial data,
and reconciliationsAble to multitask and manage a wide variety of tasks and processesThrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressureStrong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines consistentlyA proactive problem solver who can identify and resolve discrepanciesQuick to learn new systems, processes, and tools, and adaptive to changeStrong communication skills, able to liaise with internal teams and clients
This is a hands-on, detail-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys working at the transactional level and building expertise in billing and invoicing processes.
Skills & Experience
Background in billing officer, invoicing clerk, accounts administrator, or finance admin rolesStrong Excel skills and experience with financial systems / invoicing platformsHigh level of accuracy in data entry and financial processingAbility to prioritise and manage competing deadlinesExperience in a high-volume, process-driven environment highly regarded
