This collaborative mindset enables innovation and builds enduring customer relationships supporting our ambition to be the most customer‐centric company in Australia and Current Zealand.In the role of Senior Analyst, Credit Strategies, you will work closely within Business Lending Credit strategies team , contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers.You'll make an impact each day by:Support the design, implementation and refinement of automated credit strategies across Business LendingUse data and analytics to identify risks, gaps, root-causes and opportunities to enable targeted intervention and improve automation effectivenessDevelop reporting and insights on End-to-End credit process health, strategy implementation, performance and control monitoringCollaborate with Risk, Product, Data, Automation and Technology teams to deliver commercially effective and risk-aligned credit initiativesContribute to proof-of-concepts using external data,



automation and emerging decisioning toolsTranslate technical findings into clear and actionable recommendations and build your influence with key stakeholdersYou'llbring to this role:Proven experience in an analyst role within financial services, credit risk, retail or non-retail ending, data or analyticsStrong numerical and analytical capability, with demonstrated hands-on experience using PythonUnderstanding of decision science principles, predictive modelling and data-driven decision makingAn understanding of credit risk, credit decisioning technologies, system design, business rules frameworks, controls and process automation to support lending outcomesStrong problem-solving skills, curiosity, risk-mindset and the ability to independently work through complex informationClear communication skills and the confidence to engage with technical and business stakeholders across different levelsA tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, engineering, data science or a related fieldA diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyoneWe know that our people make us who we are.
