This unique chance will provide the right applicant anopportunity to work in one of the Sunshine coasts most picturesque locations.We offer above award rates and a flexible roster.
Shifts normally work from 11am - 8.30pm with an hour (or more) break Monday to Sunday.We are looking for someone with a passion for creating quality food to join our amazing team.
The position is a full-time salaried role forthe right candidate.The successful applicant will:Be Trade QualifiedMinimum Qualifications Certificate IV in Commercial CookeryBe motivated andwilling to work in a team environmentBe driven by quality and customer satisfactionFlexible working conditions for the right candidateHave ability to work in a fast paced environmentMinimum 2 years industry experienceDuties Include:Plan menus and food preparation issues with managers or head chef;Order food, kitchen supplies and equipment;Prepare and store food stuffs, ensuring stock rotation and control is maintained;Preparation of meals, ensuring presentation, portion control and quality is of the highest standard;Liaise with Head Chef or Managers on Functions or Special requirements;Maintain kitchen equipment and individual tools of the trade;Constantly update knowledge and skills to keep abreast of industry trends;Train and supervisor apprentices, trainees and other kitchen staff;Assist or compile kitchen rosters and staffing reviews;Relieving and performing other duties as directed by Supervisor or Management.
