## Maintenance Technician-ElectricalApply: Sydney: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: October 31, **** (30 days left to apply): JR*****### Job TitleMaintenance Technician-Electrical### Job Description**Role Description**As an Electrical Maintenance Technician (Shift), your role within the team is to undertake preventative and corrective maintenance on a baggage handling system incorporating automated storage cranes and specialised transport systems.
This is a full-time in office role incorporating 12hr shifts on a 24/7 roster located at Sydney International Airport.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment.
Tasks may include, but are not limited to, conducting electrical maintenance inspections, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and components, and ensuring compliance with WHS standards.
**Key Focus Areas*** Preventative and corrective maintenance (electrical).
* Fault finding on automated systems.
* Using data analytics to enhance system performance.
* Providing technical support to our customers.
**Qualifications** The successful candidate will have the following: **Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering – Electrical,** with at least 3 to 5 years' post-trade experience as a Service Technician* Strong electrical background working on industrial automated equipment.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills (English).




**Highly Regarded*** Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical).
* Experience in logistics, postal sorting, and baggage handling systems is highly regarded.
* Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems)* Highly motivated with a keen interest in further developing your own abilities and studies.
