#### Fijian Language Teacher - February to May ****Laverton, VIC ****Casual#### Job descriptionLOCATION: In-person, near Altona Meadows, MelbourneDATE: 17 February **** to 21 May ****REMUNERATION: $55 per hour + 12% superannuationROLES: Fijian speakers with language teaching experience are invited to deliver a Fijian language course for adult learners.
You will work full time, Monday to Friday, ********* with a one-hour meal break.DUTIES:-Deliver a Fijian language course based on existing materials-Adapt lesson plans, conduct assessments and other administrative duties* Review and enhance existing course materials* Create engaging online activities to consolidate learningEssential Criteria1.
Fluent in Fijian.2.
University-educated, ideally in education or teaching3.
Minimum one year's experience teaching/tutoring English or Fijian to adults4.




Sound knowledge of different approaches to language teaching (for Beginners or Advanced students)5.
Deep understanding of daily life and society of Fiji to support effective language teaching6.
Fluent in written and spoken English7.
Familiar in the use of IT in language delivery and course development.8.
Proven experience in course development9.
Experience in assessment management and marking10.
