Collinsville Open Cut is Queensland's oldest existing coal mine, with a long history of producing quality metallurgical and thermal coal for export markets.
Located approximately 160 km from Airlie Beach in North Queensland, the operation combines the experience of an established mine with a workforce focused on getting the job done safely and effectively.

Reporting to the CHPP Supervisor and Superintendent, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of CHPP fixed plant assets.
You will work collaboratively within a dynamic operations team, utilising available resources to optimise plant performance, equipment availability, and production outcomes.
This role is well suited to an electrical tradesperson with strong operational discipline, a high regard for safety, and a proactive approach to plant optimisation and housekeeping.Core accountabilities include:Conduct regular CHPP plant inspections to monitor operating conditions and maximise efficiencyRespond to and assist with plant breakdowns to support the timely restoration of operationsSafely and efficiently operate mobile equipment,
including loaders and ancillary equipmentOperate train load-out systems in accordance with site proceduresManage and maintain product stockpiles to meet production requirementsMaintain a consistently high standard of housekeeping across the CHPPParticipate in operational improvement initiatives to enhance plant performanceProvide accurate operational feedback and information to support CHPP planning and performanceSupport the CHPP team to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective production outcomes aligned with site targetAbout you:Electrical trade qualification with experience in a CHPP fixed plant operations environment (Highly desirable)Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellenceAbility to identify abnormal plant conditions and respond effectivelyClear communication skills and a disciplined approach to proceduresProactive, team-focused attitudeWhat we offer:Highly competitive Enterprise Agreement position.Long term Life of Mine.Permanent full-time position.7/7 Day-Night Rotating Roster.Camp accommodation and meals provided.Annual Health & Wellbeing Reimbursement.Reward & recognition initiatives.Training & Development Opportunities.For Further Information Please contact Murray Kimmorley on .
