About the role
The Road Design Services branch operates as a self-funded unit, relying on project income from Transport Services and other parties, including the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA).
The role ensures design services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively and to a high standard of quality, oversees fee-for-service and Service Level Agreements (SLA's) to keep the branch sustainable, and collaborates with Assets & Engineering senior leadership to support strategic planning and departmental priorities.

Qualifications and experience
You'll bring:
A tertiary qualification in engineering or related discipline (mandatory).
Appropriate industry experience in road engineering and design leadership (mandatory).
Postgraduate qualification in engineering, business management, risk management or a related discipline (desirable).
Pre-employment checks and employment conditions

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
