REGISTERED NURSE We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and caring Registered Nurse to join our growing team at Strathalbyn Medical Clinic, someone who wants to be actively involved in patient care and preventive health, helping patients stay well, identify health concerns early and better manage their ongoing health needs.

The position will initially be casual, approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow.
No weekend work at this point in time.
YOUR ROLE Your role will include, but are not limited to:
Preventive Health and patient education Health Assessments and Health Screening Chronic Condition Management, care planning and reviews Immunisations and Vaccinations Wound care and dressings ECGs Assisting with procedures and clinical care Patient follow-up and ongoing care Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Supporting patients with their individual healthcare needs Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider practice team Contributing to quality improvement and preventive health initiatives General clinical and administrative duties as required Accreditation Assistance ABOUT YOU We are looking for someone who: Is passionate about primary healthcare and preventive care Is motivated to make a genuine difference to patients and their health outcomes Enjoys building strong, trusting relationships with patients Has a positive and enthusiastic approach to their work Is caring, compassionate and patient-focused Works well as part of a team Has excellent communication and documentation skills Has strong organisational and time-management skills Is reliable, professional and takes pride in their work Is eager to learn and develop their skills within general practice Has previous general practice nursing experience TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS POSITION, YOU MUST: Hold current unrestricted registration with AHPRA Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate Have a current National Police Check Have a current Working with Children Check Have the right to work in Australia Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse in general practice is essential for this position.
REMUNERATION Remuneration is dependent on the successful applicant's qualifications, experience and skillset.
