We are seeking a Takeaway Food Assistant to join the team at Tuckerbox Takeaway in Leongatha, VIC.
This is a casual position offering 13 hours per week.
As a Takeaway Food Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive quality food prepared efficiently and with care.
You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, supporting the preparation, assembly and cooking of takeaway meals, whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
This role is essential to delivering an excellent customer experience and keeping our operations running smoothly.What you'll be doingPreparation of food items including chopping, portioning and organising ingredientsOperating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to prepare takeaway mealsAssembling, cooking and packaging food accurately and promptlyMaintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including regular cleaning and sanitisation of work surfaces and equipmentStoring food items correctly to ensure quality and food safety standards are metSupporting the team to meet service demands during busy periodsFollowing all food handling and safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure customer safetyResponding promptly to requests and communicating effectively with team membersAssisting with basic stock management and reporting when supplies are running lowWhat we're looking forPrevious experience working in a kitchen, takeaway,
