Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is looking for an experienced Senior Audio-Visual Specialist to join our Technology Operations team.Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia's leading provider of venue management services.
It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide's most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC), and Coopers Stadium (CS), in addition to functions and events at The Drive (TD).
As South Australia's home of business events, Adelaide Convention Centre is where global conferences, major exhibitions, gala banquets and other milestone celebrations come to life.

while providing technical leadership and support to our Technology team.What you'll be doingLead AV teams across Audio, Lighting, Video and/or RiggingProvide hands-on technical support during eventsTroubleshoot complex AV setups and equipmentCoordinate crews to deliver safe, smooth and successful eventsMentor and support other techniciansWork closely with planners, clients, suppliers and internal teamsComplete equipment checks, maintenance and fault reportingHelp improve how we plan and deliver eventsSupport training and development of team membersAbout the CandidateYou'll bring:Strong experience in AV, entertainment or a related technical environmentAdvanced technical skills in one or more AV disciplinesExperience leading or supervising a teamStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsA proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approachThe ability to work independently and under pressureFlexibility to work outside normal business hours, including weekendsDiploma in Technical Services or 7 years' experience in your specialist fieldCurrent Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain oneCurrent EWP Licence, or willingness to obtain one
