Lead flagship events that engage hundreds of participantsDeliver virtual, hybrid and face-to-face learning experiencesSydney-based 6 month contract role with flexible and hybrid working arrangementsAbout the roleYour work helps protect the people, assets and services of the NSW Government as well as aiding speedy recovery and service continuity should an incident occur.As an Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale education programs and events that support NSW Government Agencies to better manage risk and insurance outcomes.
You will lead the planning and delivery of major forums, webinars and workshops, working closely with subject matter experts, speakers, vendors and internal and external stakeholders to create engaging, professional learning experiences.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-profile initiatives, including a flagship annual forum attracting hundreds of participants, while building expertise across event management, learning design and stakeholder engagement.What you'll be working onLead the end-to-end delivery of major education events, forums, webinars and workshops that drive capability across NSW Government AgenciesCoordinate venues, speakers, technology providers and event logistics to deliver seamless in-person, virtual and hybrid experiencesManage participant communications, registrations, event briefings, livestreams, recordings and post-event evaluation activitiesPartner with internal experts and external providers to develop engaging learning solutions, including digital and eLearning programsBuild strong relationships with service providers,
presenters and key stakeholders to support successful education outcomesContribute to the promotion of education initiatives through event collateral, communications and learning resourcesSupport program planning, budgeting, reporting and continuous improvement activities across the education portfolioWhat you'll bringDemonstrated experience delivering end-to-end events, including large-scale face-to-face, virtual or hybrid programsExperience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors and presenters to achieve successful outcomesKnowledge of workers compensation, general insurance, risk management or a related regulated environmentAbility to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes across complex event schedulesExperience working with learning, education, training or capability-building programsStrong communication skills, including the ability to coordinate briefings and explain requirements clearly to a range of audiencesExperience managing external providers and maintaining project momentum to achieve agreed deliverablesQualifications or certification in event management and/or project management will be highly regardedWhat we offerWork-life balance: Flexible and hybrid working arrangementsHealth and wellbeing: Gym subsidies, health checks,
