As a Compliance Caretaker you will be testing the fire alarms, ELT, and water tests on all our schemes and sites around the area.
Work may include emptying properties, collecting fly tipping, grounds maintenance, hard/soft landscaping, voids clearances, fencing and any other related works.
The role is lone working, and the candidate will need to be self motivated and good with spread sheets and technology.ResponsibilitiesCarry out risk assessments to identify and report any potential maintenance issues to ensure a safe environment is maintained and to support planned maintenance programmesEnsure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and used in line with policies and procedures and relevant regulations, reporting faults, hazards and inappropriate practice promptly,
to ensure a safe living and working environmentProvide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed to meet organisational standardsEnsuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable conditionSkills and experiencesExperience in a similar role or completing similar tasksPractical experience in operating hand tools and light machinerySome experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloadsWorking knowledge of Health and Safety legislationGood communication and customer service skills with an excellent work ethicThis role will involve driving on company business.
