The successful Senior Software Engineers will work within Agile delivery teams to design, develop and deploy secure cloud-native applications supporting a large-scale intelligence and surveillance platform.
You will be offered a long-term contract through to June **** with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.The successful Senior Software Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:Designing &developing; cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices & integration services using AWS technologiesBuilding serverless and containerised solutions leveraging services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS and API GatewayDeveloping Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation and AWS CDKImplementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment processes across cloud environmentsProviding technical leadership,



architecture input and support for complex cloud-based solutionsThe successful Senior Software Engineers will have:Strong experience developing cloud-native applications using Java, Python, Node.js or TypeScriptHands-on experience with AWS services, serverless architectures and container platformsExperience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesProven experience designing scalable, secure and resilient software solutions within Agile environmentsAWS Developer, AWS Solutions Architect or related cloud certifications highly regardedThis is a outstanding opportunity to work with a leading Federal Government Department and contribute to a nationally significant Senior Software Engineer program leveraging modern AWS cloud technologies.
