Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Governance Manager to provide strategic cybersecurity leadership, technology risk advisory and security governance across complex enterprise environments. The role will work closely with executive leadership, boards, technology teams and business stakeholders to strengthen cyber resilience, manage technology risk and ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience across cybersecurity strategy, information security management, GRC, enterprise security architecture, cloud and OT security, privacy, business continuity and technology transformation .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies, policies, frameworks and roadmaps .
- Provide senior advisory support to executives, boards and leadership teams on cyber risk, technology risk and security governance .
- Lead cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance initiatives across complex and regulated environments.
- Assess and improve organisational security maturity, resilience and compliance posture.




- Provide expertise across ISO 27001, NIST, ASD Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF, APRA, PCI DSS, ISO 22301 and other relevant frameworks .
- Advise on secure architecture, network security, cloud security, OT/IT security and Zero Trust .
- Lead information security risk assessments, control reviews, audits and remediation programs.
- Establish and manage security governance forums, steering committees and executive reporting.
- Support data governance, privacy protection and responsible AI governance initiatives.
- Develop and enhance business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management and cyber resilience capabilities.
- Provide guidance on security operations, vulnerability management, threat management and incident response readiness.
- Lead and mentor cybersecurity and technology risk teams.
- Support client engagement, consulting, solution advisory and presales activities where required.

Key Skills & Experience

- 15+ years of experience across cybersecurity, information security, technology risk or enterprise technology .
- Proven experience in senior cybersecurity leadership, advisory or consulting roles.
- Strong experience in GRC, cybersecurity strategy and risk management .
- Experience working with executive leadership, boards and senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, network infrastructure and security technologies.
- Experience across cloud, OT security, critical infrastructure and regulated environments .
- Knowledge of privacy, data governance, business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Robust understanding of Australian and international cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership and consulting skills.

Desirable Certifications

CISSP, CISA, CISM, PCI DSS QSA, CDPSE, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 42001, ITIL Expert and TOGAF.
