Senior Software Engineer | AWS Cloud
/n Deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS, Java, Python and modern Dev Ops practices on a major government technology program. This role requires full-time onsite attendance in Canberra for the first 3 months, with hybrid arrangements considered afterward.

Contract Duration: Contract to 30 June 2027 with 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Must hold an AGSVA NV1 clearance
Essential Tasks/n
/n
- Design and develop cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices and integrations on AWS.
/n
- Build serverless and containerised solutions using Lambda, ECS, EKS and related AWS services.
/n
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Cloud Formation or AWS CDK.
/n
- Provide technical leadership across design,
development, deployment and operational support.
/n
Key Criteria/n
/n
- Senior software development expertise across complex applications and cloud solutions.
/n
- Robust AWS cloud-native development experience with Java, Python, Node.js or Type Script.
/n
- Experience designing complex software and systems using secure, scalable architecture patterns.
/n
- Strong systems integration, automation, CI/CD and technical leadership capability.
/n
