Our client is looking for an experienced Mortgage Broker to join their team and manage clients across the full lending journey, from initial enquiry and needs analysis through to settlement and ongoing relationship management.
This is a great opportunity for a broker who enjoys working directly with clients, structuring lending solutions and delivering a high level of service, while also having the opportunity to develop new relationships and grow their portfolio over time.
You’ll work across a broad range of lending scenarios within a supportive, high-volume environment, with the autonomy to manage your clients and pipeline while having access to a wide range of lending solutions.
What you’ll gain

Key responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their financial circumstances, goals and lending requirements
- Assess client needs and identify suitable lending solutions
- Structure and recommend appropriate loan options
- Manage applications from initial enquiry through to approval and settlement
- Liaise with lenders, clients, solicitors, conveyancers and other relevant parties
- Maintain accurate client records and CRM information
- Ensure applications and documentation are managed accurately and in line with compliance requirements
- Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients
- Identify opportunities to assist clients with future lending requirements
- Develop professional relationships and generate new opportunities through referrals and networking as part of your broader role
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have:
- 3+ years’ experience as a mortgage broker in Australia
- Strong knowledge of residential and investment lending
- Experience with SMSF and/or construction lending would be advantageous
- A genuine focus on delivering a positive client experience
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills
- The ability to manage applications through to settlement
- Relevant qualifications, along with MFAA or FBAA accreditation
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of responsible lending and compliance requirements
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
