Job Title: Maintenance Electrician -
Location: Northern Beaches & North Sydney Region
Salary: Up To $54ph+ Super + Company Vehicle + Tools of Trade + Overtime Opportunities
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Maintenance Electrician to join a growing facilities maintenance team servicing a portfolio of commercial, education, retail, healthcare and corporate sites across Sydney's Northern Beaches and surrounding areas.
This is a mobile role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), reactive breakdowns, fault finding, repairs, testing and minor project works across a variety of client sites. The role would suit someone who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and building robust relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative maintenance across electrical systems and assets
- Attend reactive maintenance call-outs and emergency breakdowns
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely
- Conduct testing, inspections and compliance checks
- Complete lighting, power, switchboard and circuit maintenance works
- Carry out small installation and upgrade projects
- Ensure all works comply with relevant Australian Standards and WHS requirements
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation through a mobile system
- Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and service delivery
- Liaise with service coordinators and facilities managers to ensure jobs are completed on time
About You
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Experience in commercial electrical maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience undertaking PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with mobile job management systems and reporting application
