At Fuse Recruitment, our Engineering & Trades division supports businesses across Queensland’s manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure and industrial sectors. We are now looking for an experienced Team Leader to help lead and grow our Brisbane Engineering & Trades business.

This is an opportunity to step into an established desk with existing clients, strong candidate networks and significant opportunity to grow our presence across the Queensland market.

You’ll take ownership of the desk while working closely with our broader Manufacturing & Operations division to leverage existing relationships and identify new opportunities across our extensive client base.

The Opportunity This role is a genuine blend of leadership, business development and hands-on recruitment.

You’ll work across permanent and temporary recruitment within the Engineering & Trades market, recruiting roles across areas including mechanical and electrical trades, maintenance, engineering, technical services and broader industrial operations.

Alongside managing your own portfolio of clients and revenue, you’ll play a key role in:

- Leading, mentoring and developing consultants

- Driving team culture, engagement and accountability

- Developing and executing a clear BD strategy for the Engineering & Trades market

- Growing existing client relationships and strategic partnerships





- Leveraging opportunities across Fuse’s established Manufacturing & Operations client base

- Building strong talent pools across key engineering and trades disciplines

- Supporting the continued growth of the Brisbane division

Importantly, this is not a “build from scratch” opportunity. You’ll have access to established client relationships, existing accounts, an extensive industrial network, strong delivery capability and the support of an experienced leadership team.

There is also plenty of scope to put your own stamp on the desk and shape where we take Engineering & Trades in Queensland.

You’ll work alongside experienced recruitment leaders who understand the Engineering, Trades and Manufacturing markets and will support you to grow relationships, develop your team and build a significant specialist desk.
