About the Opportunity

Programmed Facility Management is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on Rottnest Island.

Reporting to the Island Operations Manager, this role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance and capital works projects. You will oversee project delivery from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

In addition to delivering a select number of projects directly, you will provide project management leadership, guidance and support to supervisors and operational teams, helping drive consistency, capability development and best-practice project delivery across the contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project professional who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and contributing to projects that support one of Western Australia's most iconic destinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the delivery of refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance and capital works projects from initiation through to completion.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement and contract administration activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Maintain project governance processes,



reporting frameworks and project controls.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, risks and quality outcomes across the project portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Provide project management coaching, guidance and support to supervisors and operational teams.
- Coordinate with Facilities Management, Asset Management and Procurement teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Project Manager with a proven ability to deliver complex projects while managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

You will also possess:

- Demonstrated experience delivering construction, infrastructure, refurbishment, fit-out or maintenance projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a structured project management environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing project budgets and financial performance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management and quality assurance principles.
- Sound knowledge of Australian WHS and environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead, mentor and support project delivery teams.

Highly Regarded
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management,



Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering government or public-sector projects.
- Experience administering contracts under AS2124 or similar frameworks.
- Membership of, or progression towards, a recognised professional industry body.
