Location: East Perth/FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out)
Employment Type: Full-time (8 On, 6 Off - 12hrs)
Term of Apprenticeship: 4 years
Start Date: Immediate start available

About the Role

As a Mechanical Fitting Apprentice, duties may include:

- Study and interpret blueprints to mark the shape and dimension of a specific part
- Assemble and fit machined parts
- Operate powered machinery either by hand or computer control
- Build machinery and equipment on site
- Clean and lubricate assembled parts and equipment
- Identify problems, and how to fix them
- Translate your skills across machinery and equipment of any size




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company policies

- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated to develop new skills through an apprenticeship
- Able to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
- Committed to completing the full term of the apprenticeship while working full time

Eligibility Criteria (Must Be Met – Non-Negotiable)

- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must reside in the Perth Metropolitan Area due to job location
- Must hold a CURRENT, FULL Australian Driver’s Licence (NO P-PLATES or provisional licences accepted)
- Must have a valid Construction White Card
- Must be willing and able to complete mandatory drug and alcohol testing (this is a compulsory requirement)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory National Police Clearance (or provide one if requested)
