About Good Sammy

Good Sammy is WA’s largest social enterprise, transforming lives and workplaces through disability employment and advancing sustainable practices. We’re a beloved and iconic WA brand. You might know us for our op shops, but there is so much more to Good Sammy and the impact we create every day.

A chance to make your mark

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Grants Coordinator to join our Marketing, Fundraising and Partnerships team. Reporting to the Grants Lead, this role will coordinate the administration and delivery of grant projects across Good Sammy, prepare and submit high-quality small grant applications up to $20,000, support milestone reporting and acquittals, and help maintain strong relationships with funders, project leads, Finance and internal stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

- Prepare, write and submit high-quality small grant applications and supporting documentation, with a primary focus on grants up to $20,000.
- Source and assess community, local and State government grant opportunities that align with Good Sammy’s strategic priorities, programs and social enterprises across WA.
- Coordinate the administration and delivery of grant-funded activities, ensuring requirements, milestones, documentation and deliverables are understood and met.
- Work collaboratively with the Grants Lead, Finance team, project leads, Marketing, Fundraising and Partnerships colleagues, funders and other stakeholders.
- Maintain grant pipelines, calendars, application records, funding agreements, correspondence, milestone dates, acquittal deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Support recognition and promotional requirements associated with grant funding, including gathering evidence of communications, events, media, social media or other advantages where required.

About you

We’re looking for someone with strong administrative,

writing and stakeholder coordination skills who can manage detail, deadlines and relationships with confidence. You will understand, or be ready to quickly build your understanding of, grants management processes and the importance of accurate documentation, evidence-based writing, reporting and funder stewardship.

To be successful, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience or strong understanding of grants management requirements, administration, acquittals and reporting processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build, nurture and maintain collaborative relationships across teams, funders and partners.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive, accurate and evidence-based writing.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand project information, outcomes, reporting requirements and supporting evidence.
- Financial and commercial awareness, including the ability to understand project budgets, will be highly regarded.

Why join Good Sammy?

- 0.8 FTE with the flexibility to work from home one day per week, offering a balance of meaningful work and flexibility.
- A meaningful role in Good Sammy’s Fundraising team, supporting grant outcomes that contribute to disability employment, inclusion and pathway opportunities.
- Work from our newly renovated Canning Vale offices, with collaborative spaces, plus free onsite parking and EV charging.

- Offer flexible work practices that recognise different needs and life stages.
- A rare south-of-the-river opportunity, offering a great alternative to the CBD commute.
- Salary packaging benefits to help you make the most of your take-home pay.
- A supportive, values-led team culture where your coordination, writing and relationship skills can make a real difference.
- This is an opportunity to take what you already know about grants and funding opportunities and use it to help us build something outstanding.
- You’ll have plenty to contribute, plenty to learn and the chance to see the impact of the relationships, systems and social enterprises you help strengthen.
