As the business continues to evolve, we’re looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join the team and play a key role in supporting its people, leaders and operational environment.

This is genuinely a hands-on HR chance where you’ll have the scope to make an impact across the full employee lifecycle. From employee relations and performance management through to recruitment, onboarding, compliance, leadership coaching and people initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Overseeing a National workforce of approximately 300 employees, you’ll work closely with operational leaders and senior stakeholders to provide practical, commercially focused HR advice.

Your role will include:

- Providing trusted advice and coaching to leaders, helping build their confidence in managing people and having difficult conversations
- Managing a broad range of employee relations matters balancing legislative compliance with a people-first approach that upholds company values and priorities
- Supporting compliance across Fair Work, modern awards, HR policies and employment practices
- Partnering with the WHS/Compliance function on areas where HR and operational requirements intersect, including workers’ compensation, return to work, fatigue and fit-for-work processes
- Leading recruitment and onboarding across the business, working closely with operational leaders to attract and appoint the right people
- Supporting performance, capability,



succession and leadership development initiatives
- Using HR data and reporting to identify trends, provide insight and support better people decisions
- Contributing to initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing and the overall employee experience

This is a role where you’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves, build strong relationships and make things happen.

ABOUT YOU
You’ll be an experienced HR generalist with strong operational and employee relations capability and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, operational environment.

You’ll ideally bring:

- 5+ years’ experience in a HR Generalist role
- Skilled at managing end-to-end performance and employment relations cases with discretion, fairness, and clarity
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements and modern awards
- Experience working with a blue-collar, operational or multi-award workforce will be highly regarded
- A practical and commercially minded approach to HR - you’re comfortable balancing people, risk and business requirements
- Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders at all levels




- The confidence to work autonomously, exercise sound judgement and take ownership of outcomes
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- An interest in using HR systems, data and technology to improve the way HR is delivered
