As our Clubhouse Venue Manager, you'll take the lead across our diverse hospitality offering, including:

- Bistro

- Café

- Bars

- Kitchen

- Functions and events spaces

No two days are the same at Keppel Bay Sailing Club. From relaxed waterfront dining and busy weekend trade to weddings, celebrations, corporate events and community gatherings, you'll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences for our members and guests.

You'll lead a passionate and supportive team that includes Duty Managers, a dedicated Functions Coordinator, experienced front-of-house staff and talented kitchen professionals who genuinely love what they do.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being part of the action. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, drive operational success, develop your team and bring fresh ideas to one of the Capricorn Coast's most iconic hospitality venues. Whether you're supporting a major event, coaching your team, engaging with members or ensuring smooth daily operations, you'll play a key role in shaping the guest experience and the future success of the Club.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing hospitality team

- Oversee and assist with daily venue operations across food, beverage and functions

- Manage staffing, rosters, performance and training

- Deliver exceptional customer service standards





- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming, WHS and club policies

- Drive venue sales, budgets and operational performance

- Manage stock control, stocktakes and cost management

- Coordinate functions and special events

- Build strong relationships with members, guests and stakeholders

- Maintain a safe, welcoming and professional environment for guests and team members

About You
You'll be a natural leader who enjoys being on the floor, supporting your team and engaging with customers. You will bring:

- Previous experience in venue, operations or hospitality management

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Experience managing rosters, labour costs and venue performance

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

- A hands-on and positive approach to leadership

- Sound understanding of compliance, liquor licensing and WHS requirements

- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

Qualifications & Licenses
The following are required, or willingness to obtain:

- RMLV

- Approved Manager License

- RSA

- RSG

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

- Blue Card

- Current Police Check

- First Aid Certificate
