The Melbourne office has grown significantly since its acquisition in 2010, developing from a very small team into a growing practice with a $1.7m fee base and a team of 8 professionals. This is a key appointment for the Melbourne office, with the successful candidate playing an important role in the continued growth and development of the practice. For the right person, there is also a genuine pathway towards equity.

The client base is diverse and high quality, including high-net-worth individuals and families, medical professionals, manufacturing businesses and SMEs, with a solid focus on complex structures and taxation. The practice has an established fee base across Business Services and SMSF, providing a strong platform for further growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing a portfolio of high-quality Business Services clients

- Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and management accounts

- Advising clients on business structures, tax planning and broader commercial matters

- Managing and developing a team of accountants

- Working closely with the Partner on client relationships and business development

- Supporting the continued growth and development of the Melbourne practice

- Contributing to the strategic direction of the practice
