About the Role
Due to our continual growth, we are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician Supervisor.
- Leading and coordinating a team of hydraulic technicians across shutdown and field service work;
- Carrying out and overseeing shutdown maintenance on all hydraulically operated fixed plant;
- Scheduling and supervising onsite install and servicing of conveyor braking systems;
- Overseeing onsite servicing of fixed plant hydraulic & lubrication system
- Supervising onsite install and commissioning of hydraulic & lubrication systems;
- Reviewing and quality-checking hydraulic tube and hose installations and replacements;
- Supervising hydraulic component change outs;
- Leading troubleshooting of complex hydraulic systems;
- Mentoring and upskilling junior and intermediate technicians;
- Ensuring team compliance with statutory and site policies/procedures, and reporting on same.
About You
- A trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting);
- Significant experience in hydraulics, including demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team;
- Tertiary training in Fluid Power (Desirable but not essential);
- Current 'C' Class driver's license
- The ability to lead a team unsupervised, as well as work hands-on as part of the team;
- Strong ability to record, document, and report on daily processes accurately;
- The ability to liaise confidently with customers and site stakeholders;
- Previous site experience pertaining to hydraulics & lubrication on fixed plant, ideally in a leadership capacity.
