Your new role

As a Customer Field Technician, you will be responsible for attending customer premises and network locations to complete installation, maintenance, repair, and fault-finding activities across telecommunications infrastructure. You will work independently throughout your region while providing exceptional customer service and technical support. Successful candidates will complete a fully paid 6-8 week training program and gain a Certificate III in Telecommunications, providing a strong foundation for a long-term career in the industry. Candidates with handyman, maintenance, facilities management, council, electrical, cabling, or similar technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The role includes a fully maintained company vehicle for business use. Based on the role requirements, work may involve installation, repair, maintenance, fault rectification, customer interaction, and working across telecommunications technologies and networks.

What you'll need to succeed

- Experience in maintenance, facilities management, council works, trades, handyman, cabling, telecommunications, or similar environments

- Apprentice Electricians,



Qualified Electricians looking for a lifestyle change, or candidates with telecommunications experience are highly regarded

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule

- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

- Ability to successfully obtain a National Police Check

- A safe driving history, noting candidates with serious driving offences or significant traffic histories may not meet the role requirements due to vehicle use and customer-facing responsibilities

- Willingness to complete the 6-8 week paid training program and obtain a Certificate III in Telecommunications
