About the Company
Gorilla Jobs is a specialist healthcare recruitment consultancy. Our clients include optometry practices in rural and regional Victoria. We speak with clinicians directly, so when a role opens, the right practice hears about you first and your enquiry stays confidential.
About the Position
This is a register-your-interest advertisement for optometrist roles with our clients in rural and regional Victoria. Tell us what you are looking for: the type of practice, the days and hours that suit you, and the clinical work you want more of. When a role fits, we will contact you first.
Rural optometry can offer a broad mix of patients and the chance to build long-term relationships with a community. The detail varies by practice and is confirmed as each role is shared with you.
Key Requirements
Current general registration as an optometrist with AHPRA (Optometry Board of Australia)
Open to working in a rural or regional location
Open to a confidential conversation about your next role

About the Location
Rural and regional towns often offer shorter commutes, more affordable housing than the capital cities and a slower pace outside work, while larger regional centres keep services and transport links within reach. We share the specific locations once we know what you are looking for.
On Offer
Remuneration, roster and perks vary by practice and are confirmed as each role is shared with you. By registering, you get:
A confidential conversation with a recruiter who works in optometry every day
