Echuca Regional Health is seeking an Administrator with document management experience to join our Health Information Service team. Be part of a supportive, forward-thinking environment where your expertise is valued!

Key responsibilities include:

- Tracking and recording the exact location of each Medical Record on our system, so that physical files can be easily and quickly located when needed

- Developing and overseeing the archiving schedule for the department, coordinating tasks and setting priorities

- Handling and safeguarding sensitive health information in full compliance with patient privacy regulations and internal data governance standards





- Manually uploading and entering missing documentation into our internal information system

- Assigning and managing tasks for the filing team, supervising work to ensure efficiency, consistency and accuracy in the unification process

- Working directly with our external storage provider overseeing the requests and transfers of medical records through multiple systems

Qualifications/experience required:

- Effective and efficient use of relevant technologies, including key components of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and appropriate health management systems

- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

- Solid understanding of handling confidential information and commitment to maintaining privacy
