Join a well-established Illawarra kitchen manufacturing business

Lambert Kitchens is a family-owned and operated business with over 40 years of experience in the Illawarra. We design and manufacture fully custom kitchens, laundries and joinery from our Unanderra factory.

We are looking for an experienced Draftsperson / Check Measurer to join our team and take responsibility for ensuring projects are accurately measured, detailed and ready for manufacture and installation.

This is a hands-on role that suits someone who understands how kitchens are actually built and installed, not just how they look on a drawing.

The Role

- Carry out site measures and check measures for kitchens and custom joinery.

- Prepare detailed production drawings using Cabinet Vision and/or CAD.

- Ensure dimensions, cabinetry, hardware, materials and specifications are accurate.

- Review designs and site conditions and identify potential issues before production.

- Prepare clear and accurate manufacturing information for our factory.

- Update drawings and documentation when variations or changes occur.

- Work closely with our designers, sales team, factory and installers.

- Coordinate jobs through drafting, production and installation.

- Identify missing information or potential delays and follow them through.

- Assist with technical queries and problem solving.





- Provide hands-on assistance in the factory when required.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

- Experience drafting kitchens, cabinetry or custom joinery.

- Cabinet Vision and/or CAD experience.

- Solid understanding of cabinet construction and joinery manufacturing.

- Experience with site measuring/check measuring.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to read plans and understand site conditions.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- A practical, problem-solving mindset.

- The ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines.

- A willingness to work closely with the factory and get hands-on when required.
