This position is part of the Rural Graduate Dental Partnership. In this partnership you will have access to clinical support and educational opportunities across Hunter New England, Mid-North Coast, Northern NSW and Western NSW Local Health Districts. What you'll be doing
To provide high quality, safe comprehensive oral health care to eligible patients within the Mid North Coast Local Health District in accordance with NSW Health Policy.
About You
You are a qualified and committed dental professional with tertiary qualifications in Dentistry recognised by the Dental Board of Australia and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. You bring strong clinical expertise in general dentistry, supported by sound clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities that enable you to provide safe, effective, and patient-centred care across a diverse range of clinical presentations.
You are an effective communicator with well-developed verbal, written, and computer skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders while contributing positively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Your thorough understanding of current dental infection prevention and control standards, policies, and procedures ensures the delivery of high-quality care in accordance with best practice guidelines.
Highly organised and adaptable, you excel at managing competing priorities, coordinating patient care, and maintaining efficiency in busy clinical environments. Your strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills enable you to respond professionally to challenges while maintaining a focus on achieving positive outcomes for patients and the service.
You are committed to lifelong learning and continuous career development, actively seeking opportunities to expand your knowledge, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to clinical research activities where required. With an unrestricted Australian driver's licence and a willingness to travel and work across various locations within the network, you are dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality oral health services to the communities you serve.
