Join our dynamic Warehousing and Distribution team at Wallace International as a Warehouse Assistant. This full-time role is based in our modern facility in Kewdale, Western Australia. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our busy warehouse, supporting our distribution network and helping to deliver exceptional service to our valued customers.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality
- Efficiently pick, pack and dispatch outgoing customer orders
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory management
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organised at all times
- Support the wider warehouse team with ad-hoc tasks as required
About you
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment however not essential as new beginners into the Industry welcomed
- Physically active individuals with capabilities for unpacking of containers
- Forklift license and confidence operating warehouse equipment preferred however willing to offer training and certification
- HR (Heavy Rigid) truck license a bonus however not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
