Are you an experienced Building Manager or Assistant Building Manager looking for the opportunity to take ownership of your own residential building?
An exciting opportunity has become available for a proactive and customer-focused Building Manager to join an established residential community in Maroubra Junction.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the operational side of Building Management, building robust relationships with residents and stakeholders, and ensuring a property is maintained to a high standard.

You will be the key point of contact for the building, working closely with residents, contractors, Owners Corporation representatives and service providers to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the property.

About the Role

As Building Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing success of the building through effective operations, communication and maintenance coordination.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the residential building
- Acting as the first point of contact for residents, contractors and stakeholders
- Building positive relationships with residents and Owners Corporation representatives
- Responding to resident enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance activities
- Conducting regular inspections of common areas and building facilities
- Identifying maintenance issues and coordinating appropriate solutions
- Managing contractors, trades and service providers
- Obtaining quotations and coordinating repair works
- Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring quality outcomes
- Supporting compliance requirements and essential services activities
- Maintaining accurate building records, reports and documentation
- Assisting with building improvement initiatives




- Ensuring the building remains well-presented, safe and welcoming for residents

About You

We are looking for someone who takes pride in the building they manage and enjoys creating a positive experience for residents.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in Building Management, Assistant Building Management, Facilities Management or residential property
- Exposure to residential apartment buildings or strata environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence dealing with residents, contractors and stakeholders
- Experience coordinating maintenance and repair works
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- A professional and approachable manner

Experience working with Owners Corporations, strata committees or building management systems will be highly regarded.
