Recruitment Vision is currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics for an exciting permanent FIFO opportunity with Heathgate Resources at their Beverley Uranium Mine.
Operating for more than 25 years, Heathgate is a privately owned and operated company with a remote mining operation located east of the Flinders Ranges.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic with strong maintenance experience to secure a long-term permanent role within the mining industry. You’ll work on a fleet of advanced mining equipment in a professional, safety-focused environment, supported by an experienced maintenance team.
We’re looking for motivated tradespeople who can work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on mining equipment
- Diagnose faults across hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Complete breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
- Conduct inspections and scheduled servicing
- Complete maintenance reports and documentation
- Manage parts and consumables as required
- Participate in toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site safety procedures and maintenance standards
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic or similar
- Previous drill rig maintenance experience (essential or highly regarded)
- Strong hydraulic and pneumatic diagnostic skills
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment in field environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous mining experience highly desirable
- HR licence preferred but not essential
Industry standard screening checks will be conducted, including medical and criminal history check.
