Our client is one of Australia's leading fresh produce and logistics groups who are always looking for new employees with full working rights, looking for long term work, a great attitude, reliable attendance, a willingness to be trained and availability to work a rotating shift.
These harvester roles are long-term and permanency will be offered to successful applicants after a suitable qualifying period.
Details of the role are:
- Picking mushrooms in a vertical (indoor) farming workplace.
- MUST be able to work a rotating roster that will include weekend work (not every week) - you will average 4-5 days per week on a rotating roster
- This is a fast-paced process-work environment - you need to be "on your game" to meet pick rates and quality standards once training is completed
- Full training is provided
- This is a fresh produce environment - food handling skills will be an advantage
- The role requires a commitment to SAFETY, speed, accuracy and an ability to follow process-driven training
To be considered, YOU MUST:
- Have FULL and UNLIMITED work rights (417/462 WHV and 500 Student Visas with limited work hours cannot be considered for this role)
- Have a reliable means of transport - this site is not accessible via public transport and a valid licence.
- Have previously worked as part of a small crew within a larger team
- Have appropriate PPE (hi-vis vest & steel cap boots) or willing to obtain at own cost
- NB - Previous process work experience will be highly regarded
