Hunter City Motor Group are seeking an experienced and motivated Vehicle Brand Manager to take responsibility for the performance of Cessnock MG, growth and day-to-day operations of an allocated vehicle brand within our dealership.

This is a key leadership position for an automotive professional who can drive sales, develop a high-performing team and build strong relationships with customers, manufacturers and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the vehicle brand

- Drive new and used vehicle sales performance and profitability

- Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets

- Lead, motivate and coach the sales team

- Monitor sales performance, KPIs, margins and inventory levels

- Maintain strong relationships with the manufacturer and brand representatives

- Manage vehicle stock, demonstrators and showroom presentation

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

- Identify opportunities to increase market share and sales performance

- Oversee advertising, promotions and local marketing initiatives

- Ensure dealership policies, manufacturer standards and compliance requirements are met

- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management





- Assist with recruitment, training and development of dealership staff

About You

We are looking for someone with:

- Previous experience in automotive retail, preferably in a management role

- Strong knowledge of dealership sales operations

- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team

- Strong commercial and financial awareness

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- A customer-focused approach

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- The ability to work towards and consistently achieve KPIs

- Current Australian driver's licence

Experience managing a vehicle brand, dealership department or sales team will be highly regarded.
