About the position:
This traineeship is a great opportunity to start your career in IT while completing a Certificate III in Information Technology. You will gain hands-on experience, receive mentoring from our knowledgeable Service Desk team and learn how to support staff with everyday technology needs.
- To be eligible for this opportunity you must have no previous IT qualifications. We’re looking for someone who is curious about technology, enjoys helping people and is ready to learn.
- This is a fixed term full-time position based in the Toowoomba CBD for 2 years.
- The weekly salary range for this position is $350.00 - $908.00 depending on your education level and years out of school, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

How to be successful in this position:
- Minimum Year 10 education, with Year 12 being desirable.
- Commitment to completing a Certificate III in Information Technology over the 2-year traineeship.
- Aptitude for information technology hardware and software.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to work in a team and interest in helping others.
What you’ll learn:
- How to troubleshoot common computer, software and system issues.
- How to provide friendly customer service and technical support.
- How to set up and maintain ICT equipment.
- How to record and manage support requests.
- How an ICT Service Desk supports a large organisation.
