Casual opportunities | Build your hours | Potential to progress to full-time
Bring your experience. Build trust. Grow with Concept Care.
You already know that excellent disability support goes beyond completing tasks.
It’s knowing someone’s routine. Noticing when something isn’t quite right. Building trust over time. Knowing when to step in, when to step back and when to escalate.
At Concept Care, we’re looking for experienced Disability Support Workers who take pride in providing that level of care.
Join our Sydney team and provide personalised, one-on-one support to participants with complex needs in their own homes and communities.
Join an NDIS registered provider that is Great Place to Work® Certified™ for 2026/27 and recognised as a 2025 Employer of Choice at the Australian Business Awards.
Why Choose Concept Care?
- Grow your hours and your career: Start casually and build your hours, with opportunities to progress into full-time roles as suitable positions become available.
- You’re supported too: Work with a dedicated Care Management team, clear care plans and established processes for guidance and escalation.
- Use the skills you’ve worked hard to build: Take on rewarding complex and high-intensity supports where your experience, judgement and attention to detail genuinely matter.
- Keep developing: Build your knowledge through training and opportunities to develop your practice.
- Build meaningful connections: Support participants’ choices, independence and daily routines in their own homes.
- A recognised workplace: Be part of a growing organisation that values its people and has been independently recognised as a great place to work.
The Role
No two participants are the same.
Depending on your experience, training and assessed competencies, you may support participants with:

- Complex and high-intensity supports.
- Medication support, accurate recording and escalation of concerns.
- Safe manual handling, transfers and mobility assistance.
- Meal preparation and domestic assistance.
- Community participation and appointments.
Most importantly, you’ll provide support that is safe, consistent, respectful and centred around the individual.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have at least two years’ full-time equivalent experience as a Disability Support Worker.
- Have experience supporting people with complex care needs.
- Are confident following individual support and care plans.
- Know how to recognise and escalate changes or concerns.
- Communicate clearly and complete accurate documentation.
- Understand the importance of professional boundaries, dignity and participant choice.
- Are reliable, calm and confident in your practice.
You’ll also need a current:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- National Police Check.
- First Aid and CPR certificates.
Be reliable, flexible, and ready for a mix of shifts. Tell us your availability and preferred work areas when applying so we can assess suitable opportunities.
