About the role
We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator Intern to support the end-to-end delivery of large-scale cabinetry installations, from design approval through to final installation. Working closely with our Project Managers, you will help coordinate internal teams, clients, and suppliers — managing timelines, resolving on-site issues, and contributing to project success. This is a hands-on internship with an immediate start and a transparent pathway to a full-time Project Coordinator role for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and overseeing all phases of cabinetry installation for major commercial projects
- Support budget, timeline, resource, and subcontractor management
- Coordinate site supervisors, installers, and stakeholders
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Help identify and resolve on-site issues and delays promptly
- Maintain schedules, variation orders, and progress reports
- Ensure contract compliance, quality standards,
and safety requirements are met
About you
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Construction Management, Project Management, Joinery, or a related field
- Some exposure to construction or joinery (internship, cadetship, or site experience) is highly regarded
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read architectural drawings (or willingness to learn)
- Proficiency in Excel is a plus
- Valid Australian driver's licence (site travel required)
