About Us
Sydney Grammar School is an independent non-denominational day School for boys. The secondary School (7-12) is located on College Street in the city of Sydney and the two preparatory Schools are located at Edgecliff (K-Year 6) and St Ives (Preschool-Year 6).
About the Role
Sydney Grammar School is seeking to employ a highly motivated and qualified Risk & Compliance Administrator within the School’s Governance, Risk and Compliance Department. This is a temporary, part-time position.
Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Hours: 9:30am–3:00pm (15 hours per week)
Contract Length: 6 months
Commencement: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the School’s risk registers and monitor risk treatment plans and actions.
- Administer the incident reporting register and support staff with incident reporting processes.
- Monitor corrective actions and assist with root cause analysis to identify trends and control weaknesses.
- Document incident management processes and procedures.
- Administer the Student Insurance Claims register and coordinate claim documentation.
- Track recommendations arising from external regulatory reviews and audits.
- Support the preparation of risk, compliance, incident and audit reports for Executive Leadership, the Trustees and relevant Committees.
- Assist with the development of policies, procedures and training materials relating to risk, compliance and governance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk and governance processes.
About You
We are looking for an organised and analytical professional with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will ideally have:
- 2+ years’ experience in administration, risk, compliance, governance or project support.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills and understanding of GRC systems such as Assurance, Protecht or CAMMS.
- Strong organisational, analytical and report writing skills.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and build positive stakeholder relationships.
