Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Certificate III in
Early Childhood Education and Care, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification or at least three years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience working in an early childhood setting.
- Current
Working with Children Check.
- Strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework.
- Developing strong relationships with children, fostering a sense of belonging and trust.
- Establishing and maintaining positive partnerships with families, providing regular updates and support to ensure a collaborative approach to the child’s development.
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of engaging learning activities that promote physical, emotional,
and cognitive development through play and exploration.
- Ensuring the active supervision of children at all times to maintain their safety and well-being.
- Observing and documenting children's development, behavior, and learning progress to contribute to tailored educational planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
