Job Description

- Prepare and manage tribunal applications and responses.
- Draft submissions, witness statements and supporting documentation.
- Represent the organisation in tribunal proceedings and conciliations where appropriate.
- Manage multiple active matters simultaneously from commencement through to resolution.
- Liaise with customers, regulators, external legal providers and internal stakeholders.
- Investigate complaints,



disputes and warranty-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal and Compliance General Manager should have:

- A degree in Law or a related field.
- Proven experience in legal and compliance roles within the retail industry.
- Has experience in corporate or commercial law.
- Solid knowledge of Australian laws and regulations.
- Permanent residency
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to provide strategic legal advice in a busy environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing contracts and legal documentation.
