Forrestfield, WA | Permanent Full-Time | Workshop & Field Opportunities

TRS Resourcing is seeking Trade-Qualified Mobile Plant Mechanics / Heavy Diesel Mechanics for permanent opportunities based in Forrestfield, WA.

We have opportunities available for mechanics who prefer a workshop-based position, as well as experienced technicians looking to get out in the field carrying out servicing, diagnostics and breakdown repairs.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established heavy equipment business that operates across a diverse range of construction, earthmoving, quarrying, and crushing equipment.

The Role

Depending on your experience and preference, you will be working in either the workshop or field service team, carrying out maintenance and repairs across a broad range of mobile plant.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Servicing, maintenance and repairs of mobile plant and heavy equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Major component repairs and replacement
- Engine, transmission and hydraulic repairs
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns
- Workshop-based repairs and machine inspections
- Field service and customer site breakdown support
- Completing service reports and relevant documentation
- Maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship

Equipment

You will have exposure to a varied fleet of equipment, including:

- Excavators
- Wheel loaders
- Dozers
- Graders
- Rollers and compaction equipment




- Dump trucks
- Crushers and screens
- Skid steers and other construction equipment

About You

To Be Successful, You Will Ideally Have

- Australian-recognised trade qualification in Mobile Plant / Heavy Diesel
- Previous experience servicing and repairing earthmoving, construction or mining equipment

Experience with brands such as Hyundai, CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sandvik, Ammann or similar heavy equipment will be highly regarded.
