We are a well-established FMCG manufacturer supplying national retailers and foodservice partners across Australia and Internationally. As our business continues to grow in scale and complexity, we are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our day shift team and oversee daily manufacturing operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on meeting production targets, maintaining product quality and food safety standards, and supporting the team to work safely and efficiently.
The Role
We’re on the search for an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to join ourday shift team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our product quality and standards. You will also play a key role in driving operational excellence across our manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily food manufacturing operations.
Oversee machine setup and settings at the start of and throughout production runs, ensuring equipment is operating correctly and products meet quality standards.
Work closely with the production planning team to deliver the shift production schedule, confirming ingredient availability, coordinating line priorities, and communicating any shortages, delays or changes that may affect output.

What You Bring
Proven experience in the food manufacturing industry in a supervisory capacity.
A practical understanding of production planning in food manufacturing, with the ability to interpret schedules, anticipate material requirements and adjust shift priorities when production needs change.
Previous experience trouble shooting machine breakdowns within training capability would be advantageous.
An eye for detail to ensure production issues are identified and rectified quickly, with the support of our awesome maintenance team when required
Experience in baking or bakery production is advantageous, but not essential.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
